Ms. Loizides is Vice President, Product management at Canoe Ventures LLC, a company founded by the nation's leading cable operators including Bright House Networks, Cablevision Systems Corporation, Charter Communications, Inc., Comcast Corporation, Cox Communications Inc., and Time Warner Cable. Based in New York City, the company is focused on making cable's advanced advertising solutions easier to buy, use and measure.
Ms. Loizides has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Center for Design, Digital Arts and Film at New York University and currently serves as a Trustee of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, a member of the Board of Governors of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, NY, and Chairs the Advanced Media Committee of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, NY, that awarded Emmys for excellence in advanced media. She writes a weekly installment for Media Post Publications as part of the Television Board and is an active member of the New York Women’s Foundation, a cross-cultural alliance of women helping low-income women and girls in New York’s five boroughs to achieve sustained economic security through expanded opportunities for low-income women and girls.
Most recently, Ms. Lozides was Vice President, Interactive at Paradigm Talent & Literary Agency, where she was responsible for the development and negotiation of cross-platform initiatives, working across all divisions of the company including Music, Comedy, Television, Motion Picture and Book Publishing. Prior to her tenure at Paradigm, Ms. Loizides served as Vice President & Director, Technology and Media Engagement at the Consumer Experience Practice, part of Interpublic Group of companies, where her objectives were to drive greater understanding of consumers’ changing relationships with traditional and emerging media on behalf of brand advertisers and programming networks, cultivate strategic alliances and partnerships with media technology vendors and advise IPG Media agencies and their clients on how to best use media technologies in their communication plans. Prior, Ms. Loizides was Principal of Paphion Inc., a media consultancy where she worked with companies including Sony USA, Advanced Newhouse Communications, Scripps Networks, Arts & Entertainment Networks, ASCAP and others, to build and deploy media properties across multiple platforms. As part of Ziff Brothers Investments, she led qualitative and quantitative research efforts in the communications, media and entertainment equities sectors. Previously, she served as Senior Analyst with Jupiter Research, leading the research efforts in cable and satellite markets, personal entertainment technologies and entertainment and media industries.
Before her tenure with Jupiter, she spent six years in software development and product marketing. She served as Senior Product Manager for VSystems Inc., now part of Eskar Inc., and Product Marketing Manager at Ncompass Labs Inc., now part of Microsoft, were she was instrumental in bringing the first OLE component browser and leading edge component and content management software technology to market.
